We are looking for a Construction Leader in road markings for the Swedish Transport Administration.

The position is a consulting assignment based in Dalarna. The workload varies during the assignment and is estimated to be approximately 80% of full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Construction Leader will actively work in the area of road markings to provide a basis for decisions, aiming to achieve efficient production and ensure that the contract is carried out in the best possible way towards set goals.

Responsibilities

Plan, administer, and follow up on contracts, including controls, inventories, and documentation.

Perform measurements, inventories of road markings, and basis for grooving and marking measures.

Prepare technical documents and order basis for road marking measures, including digital documentation in LINA.

Communicate and coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders, including meetings with minutes.

Monitor contract requirements, perform spot checks, delivery, warranty, and functionality controls.

Identify, analyze, and suggest handling of issues and conditions within the contract.

Ensure follow-up on technology, economy, time, quality, environment, work environment, and safety.

Participate in construction meetings and reviews, as well as review documentation from investment projects.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Relevant education or at least five (5) years of work experience in construction management/leadership.

Experience and routine of performing computer work almost every day or week for the past five years, and thus being accustomed to working in Microsoft Office with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Possess a valid B driver's license.

Good knowledge of AMA.

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish in speech and writing.

Continuously worked in the area of road markings for the past five (5) years.

Knowledge of certified road marking materials.

Knowledge of the regulations VGU – Design of Roads and Streets latest version, within road marking.

Meritorious

Competence as stated in TDOK 2018:0371 “APV Roles and Competence in Procured Activities – Contracting and Design Services”.

Approved training and authorization for BAS-P/U.
